When it comes to tracking and seeing your website backlinks and referring domains, there are plenty of free SEO tools which you guys can use.
I wanted to outline my top 3 SEO tools which I love using.
Best Tools to Track your Backlinks
1. App.neilpatel also know as Ubersuggest
The best and top free tool to see exactly how many backlinks you have and how many referring domains you have. This is our top pick, when you hover on the graph you will see the live count for that day, see the image below for more info.
I love using this tool to check for active and broken backlinks.
2. SEMrush
SEMrush is great when it comes to backlinks and referring domains and tracking keywords.
SEMrush has free backlinks tools that will tell you how many new backlinks you have gained, and how many you lost over the period of the last 6 months, a year, or "all time".
As you can see from the graph above, it's easy to understand the backlinks' info/stats and easy to track your website's backlinks and referring domains on a daily basis.
This backlink feature is free.
3. Ahrefs
Ahrefs is good for real-time backlinks, broken links, new and lost backlinks
On Ahref's you will be able to see the live count of the latest SEO backlinks, on the left-hand side menu contains backlinks and referring domains, also in-depth data on "new", "lost" and "broken" backlinks.
This tool is my favourite out of all 3 of these, Ahrefs you can also run website analysed, it will show you any broken links, show you website issues and what to fix, with downloadable Excel file.
You can also use this to track your keywords, ranks, backlinks, competition and related keywords.
