There are many free-to-use online SEO backlink checking tools that will give you pretty good insights into all your backlinks. To be honest, the list goes well above 100s free different SEO backlink analytical checking tools.

But I wanted to share my experience with Ubersuggest SEO tool provided by Neil Patel

It's one of the mostly used free SEO tools by far and has grown dramatically in the last few years.

Also guys, checking for backlinks on Ubersuggest is super easy and effective, backlink data which is shown to the end user is easy to read and understand, making this also a very easy free SEO tool to use.

Probably one of the easiest free to use SEO tools out there at the moment!

This free SEO tool, just like others, comes with extra features, I must admit, I did purchase a subscription back a few years ago, and it was worth it, this was to check on all my backlinks and also for full report of my SEO issues.

This SEO tool is easier to use than SEMrush, saying that, SEMRush has provided some extra features in last few years making it a slightly more advanced when it comes to SEO tools, but it lot harder to use in my personal opinion, especially to anyone who has just started blogging or working on a niche.

If you want to check your website's backlinks, and check which websites link back to yours, then try Ubersuggest SEO tool provided by Neil Patel, simply enter the domain name and click on a search under the backlinks.

Now let's have a look at how can we target better SEO keywords using the tool on Ubersuggest by Neil Patel.

Just by entering the keyword or domain name, full analytical data on keywords and keyword overview can be exported into a CSV file which can be opened by Excel. This is a great feature which has helped me allot in the past, on targeting the correct keywords and also providing me with ideas on new blog topics, topic which I would have never though of if dint use this tool!

Saying that, I have turned towards Spyfu when it comes to keyword ideas in 2025. But still use  Ubersuggest for full website SEO backlink and over website report.

So I give this free SEO tool a huge a thumbs up!

Just by simply typing in your competitor's domain names, you will be able to view their full SEO keyword analysis, (located on the left-hand side box)

Then, when you select any specific keywords from the left-hand side of the SEO online tool, you will be able to view all the websites which rank for this specific keyword, from 1 being the top and all the way down to 1000+ rank.

I highly recommend anyone reading this forum topic to try Neil Patel Ubersuggest it's SEO tool I go to quite frequently and definitely worth trying out.
