Google Disavow feature not Working on Search Console

Hey guys I just wanted to share this info with you, if you are a webmaster but unable to disavow toxic & spam backlinks using Google Disavow, simply don't panic, there is a reason this feature is not enabled for your domain. 

If you see this message like I did, and you're unable to upload disavow file. And see this message on Google Search Console, "Domain properties are not supported at this time".

Do not panic, this has a reason this feature is not working. 

This means your website has not got enough backlinks.

It’s simple that, there's not enough backlinks for this feature to work. Your website is fairly new?

If you see this message "Domain properties are not supported at this time." our advice is that you simply relax, work on more backlinks, create good evergreen content and keep working on your website. Simply do not worry about any disavow text files or toxic backlinks at this stage.

Google will simply and automatically ignore any toxic backlinks affecting your SEO or ranks at this stage.

Also in the new updates google simply ignore most of the spammy and toxic backlinks anyway. Which is quite visible in 2025 and onwards. As I have simply not touch disavow list for over 4 years, my websites still been growing and doing well.

Once you do gain access to backlinks disavow list inside Google, which I have done back in 2021. Once my website reached 4000 backlinks. 

As you can see above, there are 67 domains that have been disavowed.

We have blurred out the domain for security reasons, but this domain has over 4000 backlinks and only 67 of these backlinks are being disavowed.

It did have a slight positive impact, but nothing major. In my point of view more damage is done when disavowing amber and green domains. 

But yes, if you can't see the upload disavow text file, just calm down, and keep blogging.

This is my recommendation.
